Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a former Chair of the Democratic National Committee and currently serves in the House of Representatives for Florida’s  23rd district. Schultz was also a co-chair for Hillary Clinton’s presidential run in 2006.

Schultz landed in hot water during the 2016 election when Wiki Leaks showed emails that revealed that she and many others in the DNC excersized bias towards Hillary Clinton against Bernie Sanders.1 One of her most notable accomplishments is being a major force in making every May “Jewish American Heritage Month” nation-wide.2 This was met with heavy criticism from Gary Cass who argued that Schultz would have been less tolerant of a Christian Heritage Month, to which Schultz replied “Judaism is unique, because it is both a culture and a religion”. 3
