Rod Jay Rosenstein is an American attorney who served as the 37th United States Deputy Attorney General from April 2017 until May 2019. After his clerkship, Rosenstein joined the United States Department of Justice through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. On September 21, 2018, The New York Times reported that he would secretly taped conversations between himself and Trump.
