Alan Greenspan is an American economist who is most famous for serving as the chairman for the Federal Reserve from 1987 to 2006. Beyond that, he has his own consulting firm titled Greenspan Associates LLC and worked for the Wall Street investment bank Brown Brothers.

 

Greenspan also had a close relationship with Ayn Rand-the founder of the neoconservative movement- in the early 1950s.
