Jake Tapper is an Jewish journalist, and a political anchor at CNN.
He was born in New York City and was raised in Philadelphia. He attended Akiba Hebrew Academy, and Dartmouth College, from which he graduated in History.
In 2001, Tapper hosted Take Five at CNN, but then was hired by ABC News in 2003.
As senior White House correspondent, Jake interviewed Barack Obama multiple times.
In December 2012, Tapper was hired back to CNN to anchor his program The Lead With Jake Tapper, which later won multiple awards1
