Businessman and writer who initially wrote about American foreign policy, but became more focused on opposition to Germany after the Nazis took power.
Throughout his career, Theodore Kaufman proposed sterilizing both Americans and Germans.
Citing Nazism and WWI, Kaufman described Germans as “violent criminals”, incapable of peace. He proposed mass sterilization of the German people, which he saw as the only way the world could ever be free of conflict. He also proposed the same for Americans under similar pretext.
